In this studio photography project, we took "self in the mirror" as the core concept, interpreting different roles through images, trying to capture the imagination and interpretation of the world projected onto individuals.
The profession of police itself is full of multiple identities: they are both rigorous law enforcers and cordial companions; they are both enthusiastic service providers, but they can also be considerate subordinates, tacit partners, and even colleagues who understand each other. When faced with different people and situations, they have a special talent - the ability to quickly perceive current needs and adjust their own frequency to fit the surrounding environment. This adaptability is almost instinctive.
And when the uniforms are taken off and the roles are changed, the story of photography continues. Our shooting is not just about freezing an image, but also about exploring the intersecting moments between the character and the real self, allowing the lens to become a reflection of self-cognition and reflect the unique appearance of each person.
