We have always been paying attention to the beauty of chubby boys. From daily wear, personal style to unique lifestyle, they are all sources of inspiration for the creation of the BearBun brand. This time, we work hand in hand with the BearBun team to launch a new joint product plan——『CAPTURE THE BEAR』, a series of photography and clothing design works that combines humor and fashion and breaks the framework.
This project starts from "playful fashion" and redefines the lifestyle of succulent boys. We combine exaggerated styling, fun images and comfortable everyday clothing to capture the truest appearance of chubby boys - confident, comfortable, fashionable and individual.
This time, the new product image "CAPTURE THE BEAR" planned by the Bearback photography team and BearBun invited the fashion brand BearBun to collaborate to liberate the bear aesthetics from the stereotypes of "cute" and "non-mainstream" and create a fashion revolution for bear men.
Opportunity for dual-brand collaboration
The "CAPTURE THE BEAR" project starts from the visual language, combining Bearback's expertise in portrait photography with BearBun's street fashion style. Through the use of photographic lenses and clothing design, the image of the bear is made more three-dimensional and deeper.
No longer just docile and cute, no longer just a funny symbol, succulent boys can also be sexy, fashionable, quirky, humorous, and even have a bit of dangerous tension. Every participating model is an irreplaceable style carrier in this project, showing the diversity and unclassifiable nature of the bear family.
This time the design emphasizes street fashion, artistic style and practicality, and injects a bit of rebellious spirit and sexy humor into the style, making the bear tribe no longer just an "option" but fashion itself. Bearback saw this concept and decided to work together to create a greater impact.
About BearBun Brand Story

BearBun was founded in October 2024. In this era where diversity and inclusion are increasingly valued, the LGBT community also desires to have their own brand that can honestly showcase their identity, life, and values.
Their clothing designs are more than just outfits - each piece incorporates LGBTQ+ colors and imagery to symbolize confidence, independence and diversity. Drawing inspiration from rainbow culture, BearBun hopes that everyone who wears their clothing can feel proud and self-affirmed.
